Canada Day 2019
The La Crete Agricultural Society gratefully acknowledges the funding support from Canadian Heritage which helps to make our Celebrate Canada Day in La Crete happen.
We also wish to thank Vision Credit Union for the sponsorship of the Loonies for the children’s Loonie Hunt.
The following local non-profit organizations band together to organize the event: La Crete Agricultural Society, La Crete Chamber of Commerce, La Crete Support Services, and the Northern Lights Recreation Centre. We invite and welcome community volunteers to help the committee continue to run and improve the annual event.
We gratefully acknowledge the Mackenzie County staff that helped with the parade - thank you very much. We also wish to thank Jake and Janelle Fehr and the RCMP who led the parade, the fire fighting personnel who participated (much appreciated!), as well as all the other parade participants who made the effort to make the parade the huge success it was!
A big thank you goes out to all the volunteers that helped us with the children’s activities.
We also wish to thank the Penner family for coordinating the supper and car races in the evening.
The saying, “Many hands make light work” is so true.
