Heritage Jamboree 2015
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the local musicians, kitchen volunteers, and all who came out to make the 2015 Heritage Jamboree such a success. We had several different groups of musicians each night and the music was greatly enjoyed by all. The profit raised – about $6000 will go toward our 2015 museum projects. We hope to build a tractor teeter totter, repair the chimney in the Wiebe House, and put up a fine chicken coop wire on the ceilings of the antique tractor and equipment sheds. If we get some more community volunteer help we would also like to build a sod house (erdsemlin) and a brick oven. If you are interested in volunteering at our museum please call Susan at (780)841-4648. We can plan for evening and Saturday work-bees.
We also gratefully acknowledge La Crete Co-op for donating one wooden rocker and Home Hardware for donating two children’s sleds as door prizes.
